Porepunkah is the kind of place where nothing is supposed to happen.

A quiet alpine town sitting at the base of Mount Buffalo. Small. Still. Predictable.

But on August 26th, 2025, that changed.

What began as a routine police warrant quickly spiralled into chaos—ending in multiple officer fatalities, a manhunt, and a final three-hour standoff inside a shipping container.

This episode takes you through the case from beginning to end.

Not just what happened—but how it happened.

From the first knock on the door… To the moment officers made entry… To the decisions that turned a controlled situation into a deadly one.

And finally—the last stand.

This is more than a retelling. It’s a breakdown.
