What began as a dispute over money escalated into a violent search through the streets of Noosa Heads and ended with Kerrie being found buried in a shallow grave at Mudjimba three days later.

A death can result in a murder conviction, a manslaughter conviction, or no homicide conviction at all. The difference is not simply whether someone meant to kill.
