In February 2005, Maria Korp vanished from her home in Melbourne’s north. Four days later, police found her car near the Shrine of Remembrance. Maria was inside, alive but unconscious. From that moment, the case widened into an investigation involving an affair, an admitted attacker, disputed allegations and legal questions that continued long after Maria was found.
